A pencil manufacturer had an old painting line that needed sharpening. Their ancient and obsolete PLC was replaced with a compact Allen Bradley Micro Logix brick style PLC. AC components were replaced with 24VDC versions and a lot of old wiring and components made neat. A small touch screen reduced physical buttons while providing helpful messages. Since the wiring schematics were long gone, EDC created a fresh set of prints. Another small job with a big impact.
